A TRUE ALTERNATIVE

Eric Rechel, a scientist with a Ph.D. in Botany, spent 10 years conducting research on alfalfa and cotton. He has a small business working with native plants and occasionally teaches at Mesa State College. His father was born and raised in Grand Junction, and his mother has family ties to San Luis Valley. Eric was raised in Colorado and started college at Fort Lewis in Durango.
